By combining her love of custom portrait illustration and speed painting, Nicky will provide your guests with stunning original artwork as a beautiful momento of your wedding/corporate event, a very unique wedding favour.
What do Guests take home?
All artwork is handpainted on 300gsm A6 watercolour paper and packaged in protective cello bag, guests can collect their personalised artwork throughout the event.
What medium is used?
Nicky uses only professional artist quality watercolour paints and pencils to create the individual artworks.
How long does each portrait take?
Once guest photos have been taken, Nicky works on 5-6 illustrations at a time allowing time for paint to dry but usually a two person illustration takes Nicky approximately 8-10 mins to paint. Single person is even less time!

Live Guest Illustration – How it works
1. PHOTO
Guests pose for a full length photo either as a couple or on their own. This picture is used as a reference for the painted artworks, focusing on their fashion and details.
Usually, it is one artwork per couple or single guest.
2. PAINT
Nicky illustrates all guest portraits during the wedding/event. Illustrated portraits take approximately 8-10 minutes each, depending on the complexity of the fashion, and interactions and conversations Nicky has with the guests.
There is no need for guests to wait around, unless they want to watch the painting process!
3. COLLECT
The guest illustrations are packaged in a cellophane bag and finished with a personalised event sticker which protects the artwork. The A6 size of the artworks is perfect for jacket pockets or hand basg.
The newlyweds can decide if they want the guests to collect the artworks on the night as they are completed, or if they want to collect them all and send to their guests as thank you gifts after the wedding.
Any artworks not completed at the event, Nicky finishes in her studio and sends to the newlyweds in the days following.
