Meet Nicky
Nicky is an award-winning professional illustrator working in the book industry for over 20 years. She has illustrated over 40 books in Australia and overseas.
Her unique illustration style is often refered to as whimsical, playful, emotive and colourful.
Combining her skills in custom portraits with speed painting, she offers Live Guest Illustration services for any events including weddings, corporate events, birthdays etc…
Live Guest Illustration is a magical experience for guests to watch Nicky create artworks before their eyes, and makes a lovely and memorable gift to take home.
Nicky uses professional artist paints, ink, pencils and paper which are guaranteed to be of achival quality not affected by light or age.

How it works on the day
All Nicky needs is the venue to allocate a table and chair for her set up.
She arrive approximately an hour before the ceremony to set up her illustration station.
Guests will be photographed upon their arrival and Nicky will begin painting!
Single guest or couples painted together are recommended so everyone gets to take home a personalised artwork, but Nicky can also accomodate famlies if requested.
Nicky’s packages are worked out by the number of illustrated portraits required, this number is usually the number of wedding invites you have sent out. (Couples are painted together, singles without plus ones are painted individually)
Nicky will complete the portraits in the order the photos are taken.
All unfinished portraits will be painted in studio and sent to you in the following days.
Nicky usually works on 5-6 portraits at a time taking approximately 8-10mins to complete each one. (depending on complexity of detailed outfits) This also depends how interactive the guests are with Nicky, she is always happy to chat with guests about her processes etc..
Artworks are packaged in a cellophane bag for protection.
You can decide if guests are to take their portraits on the night, or if you want to collect them all and send out as thank you gifts after the wedding.

How to book Nicky for your event
Contact Nicky to check for date availability.
Let Nicky know the number of portraits required or which Package you are interested in, the date of your event and the venue location (to work out travel expenses) and Nicky can send you a firm quote.
If you are unsure of final guest numbers, or venue, you can still secure your date with Nicky, these detials can be shared once secured.
A $500 deposit is required to secure your date, with blance to be paid in full 2 weeks prior to wedding (Nicky will send invoice).
You will be emailed a Booking Form to complete as well as invoice for Deposit. The Booking Form will capture the finer details of your wedding (venue, time, guests, special requests) this can be updated and finalised closer to your wedding date.
